This knife is great for cutting rope that is snug to a tree, it can also tare apart ziptise that are rated around something. The reason is because the swordfish has a worcliff blade and that pointy and flat surface makes it great for that Kind of stuff. The straight blade helps it cut up fruits and other stuff as well. Over all this a a great budget knife and a great pocket knife to carry.
